Frankfurt and Kira's arrival

We flew from Turkey to Frankfurt because our dog was flying from Brazil with Lufthansa (which was the airline we chose, precisely because they take special care of animals).

We rented an apartment on Airbnb which was really impressive. To begin with, the owner picked us up at the airport (we had never seen this before), extremely attentive, took us to the apartment located in the delightful Nordend-Ost, explained us a bit how everything worked, lent us his scooter, taught us to do the best gin tonic we've had and set off for a business trip.

I'll leave the Airbnb link here because it really was something outsdanding.

We stayed 2 days here before Kira (a 10 year old Viszla with white face) arrived. We would ride our scooter, run in the parks of the neighborhood, cook at home ... We were lucky that the Museum Embankment Festival was taking place (which happens by the river, with numerous typical food tents, various bands, race) in a free and quiet atmosphere.

We really liked Frankfurt, but found it much cooler to stay in the Nordend neighborhood than downtown. They are very different proposals.

And then, on the 29th of August, our long-awaited dog arrived. We went to the airport, sorted out some paperwork before releasing her, and then they opened a gate from where she left without understanding too much, and suddenly she saw us ... and it was all joy.

We stayed another 2 days until she settled and went to Paris by train, to pick up our bags that were at Guy's cousin.

Next stop - Les Sables Dólonne! Now it's time to meet Bleuga!
